Mel Hatch Douglas

Mel considers herself fortunate to have been mentored by Madcap founder Jerry Handorf. She acts and directs for Madcap as the Associate Artistic Director, and tours the Midwest as Madcap’s “Artist-In-Residence”. Mel has acted in and directed many theatre productions over the years, both in Cincinnati and throughout the Midwest and is the co-founder of the popular “Theatre Works,” a summer youth drama camp held at Northern Kentucky University and Thomas More College.  Mel loves having a career that gives her daily opportunities to unleash her creativity!
